I am new at all of this… blogging and international teaching but I thought it would be fun to share my experiences with family, friends and well strangers too. I have been working in education for more than ten years as an at-risk youth trainer/mentor, special education teacher, curriculum writer and college professor in Los Angeles, Brooklyn and Texas. I am now teaching 7 year old Intensive English at QSI International School in Shenzhen, China.
Why start blogging now, you may ask… I started this blog for many reasons which is why it will include posts and pictures on various topics including classroom culture, teaching methodology, travel, slice of life, and just the run of the mill crazy stuff that happens when you’re an expat living in China.
I hope you will learn alongside me as I experience great successes and possibly some epic failures on my way to becoming an International Super Teacher!
